Our sixth SSF Spring Psychic Fair is over. How fortunate we are that it was once again a success. We had over 400 people in attendance and netted over $3,000!
A very special thank you goes to the organizing committee, whose careful planning these past few months have achieved a wonderful result.
Thanks to each and every volunteer at the Fair – there were over 40! We are blessed that all of you gave so generously of your time so that the Fellowship can benefit. A big thank you to Marie Fortune for organizing our volunteers.
Thanks to Student Minister Mary Lou Le Roy and Alan Morrison, our Site Managers. Alan was the Off-Site Chair, for completing the necessary bookings – such as the Halifax Forum, Glow Signs and coordinating all of the rentals. Alan is a volunteer outside of the fellowship. Mary Lou managed on site the days of the fair.
A special thank you to Rolando Gonzalez for cleansing the room in the Cuban Tradition. Namaste Rolando.
Without psychics, there can be no Psychic Fair. Rev. Carmen deserves special thanks for co-ordinating all the readers. The readers were as follows: Rev. Michael Hiltz, Rev. Carmen, Rev. Mae “Aspiring Angel”, Licensed Minister André Chevalier from Montreal, Student Minister JoAnn Mandy, members Charles, Dr. Joe Turner, Ron Masters, Steve Bell, Karen Mombourquette and “Contessa Crystal.”
What makes our Fair unique is our Speakers. Our inspiring Fellowship speakers deserve recognition. Rev. Michael Hiltz organized the speakers. The speakers were as follows: Rev. Dorothy King did a presentation on Healing; Licensed Minister André Chevalier did a talk on Love is the Good in Me; Dr. Joe Turner spoke on 2012; Charles Salmon did a presentation on Candles as a Meditation Tool; Doug Rosborough presented on Being a Godling of God; Dr. Fronie LeRoy did a presentation on Esoteric Acupuncture, Ovila Doiron spoke on Self-discovery: Energy Work & Balancing and Paula Arndt did a presentation on Hypnosis for Pain, Anxiety, Depression. Paul Boutilier did an excellent job as Speaker Host, with Student Minister Violet Robinson hosting a couple of speakers as well. Paul Boutilier also did an excellent job at running the sound system as well.
Student Minister JoAnn Mandy and Rev. Michael Hiltz were scheduled to lead meditations at the beginning of both days. Unfortunately due to technical difficulties, the guided meditation scheduled only happened on one day.

A great big THANKYOU for all the Gifts!
One of our members, Ken MacDougall donated a large selection of New Age Books. These books were in mint condition and assisted in raising a good sum of money for the fair.
Our visitors demonstrate that there is a strong hunger in our community for increased knowledge on metaphysics and New Age thought. Our sessions were well attended and many people sat in on presentation after presentation.
We thank Student Minister Violet Robinson for organizing the vendors. They are enjoyed and visited by all who attend the fair. For the first time we had a food vendor which went over very well.
Thanks go to Student Minister Eileen Gonzalez, our media liaison, designer of our posters and advertising ads and webmaster.
In conclusion, we were very happy to see the turnout for our Sunday night service at the Forum. There were many first-time guests and we were glad that they experienced our service.
The results of the Fellowship Spring Psychic Fair is a testament to the successful team work of our dedicated Volunteers and our organizing committee. The Fellowship is blessed that everyone gave so freely and generously of their time, talents and gifts to make our signature event a success. Thank you.
Respectfully submitted by Rev. Michael Hiltz
